A time of great trouble for the world is coming in the days and years ahead, The Great Tribulation. This is a Biblical forecasted time of trouble for the entire world. It was first foretold by Jesus of Nazareth circa 29 AD. As we watch the events of the modern world unfold before us, we should take heed to the words of the Lord/Yahshua/Jesus, that 'the generation that sees all these things (of Matthew 24) come to pass' should then know that the time is right for the return of the Lord in the clouds. THIS is that generation! Be that as it may, even the body of Christ does not really know all the ins and outs of this specific time in history. What is it all about? What is going to happen in the years ahead? Can we know? Yes, we can know much of it, but not all.
Most all end time prophecy, no matter when or where it was written, can be placed in the scheme of things around the events before, during or after the 7th trumpet. (See Graph) This 7th trumpet was foretold by the prophet John on the Isle of Patmos circa 95 AD, now found in the book of Revelation. It also is a time of great trouble upon the earth. It is the last of a series of trumpets to sound during the end times. It is a great time marker or divider, if you will. It also marks the time of the coming of the Lord in the clouds of heaven. The Great Tribulation is precisely stated as such only in five places in the New Testament. These occur in Matthew 24:21, Luke 21:21-24, Mark 13:19, Rev. 2:22, and Rev. 7:14. However, we know that this event is also alluded to at several other places in scripture. We know that from Matthew 24, that the Lord told us this would be a time of great affliction that would come shortly after the event of the Abomination of Desolation, and that this great tribulation would be followed "immediately" by the coming of the "sign" of the Son of Man (Jesus) in the clouds of heaven. This time will be so harsh that, because of the existence on earth of the elect of God, those days would have to be shortened (for their sakes), or else all flesh would perish off the face of the earth! (This clearly shows that not all the Church will be raptured before the great tribulation.)
Jesus comes for these elect at the battle of Armageddon (which in Hebrew is Har Megiddo), at the end of the 7th trumpet! Jesus comes at the end of both the 7th Trumpet and the Great Tribulation! Therefore, The Great Tribulation IS the Seventh Trumpet! This fact is the key to the placement of many prophetic end times events! The 7th Trumpet is clearly the time of the return of Jesus the Christ to the earth to fight the battle of Ar-maggedon! (See the Article Battle of Har Megiddo.) The 7th Trumpet being a series of plagues from God directed at the inhabitants of the earth. The 6th plague calls for the gathering of the armies of the earth to a place in northern Israel called Mount Megiddo, or Har Megiddo, which is a real place in lower Galilee, right across the Valley of Jezreel from the town of Nazareth. Jesus then comes at the conclusion of this 7th Trumpet,( and the 7th plague) to fight back this attack against His elect located at this mountain in northern Israel.
The 7th trumpet is the last of a series of trumpets that are to sound. These trumpets run in sequence one after the other, as shown in Revelation. The first sounds all by itself, but not until after all those to be sealed by God of 144,000 people are completed. These 7 trumpets follow one after another. They start, then finish before the next one sounds: "the first woe (5th trumpet) is completed, behold , comes yet two woes after these things. And the 6th angel sounded." Rev. 9:12-13. "and the second woe was completed, and behold, the third woe is coming quickly." Rev. 11:14. One trumpet starts, then ends, before the next trumpet sounds. One after another, as the worldly events prophesied occur during the sounding of that particular trumpet. We maybe in the sounding of these trumpets at this time, 02/01/2023. (See Blog notice!)
All these trumpets are tribulations, but the 7th is the Great Tribulation! The wrath of God on earth! Of course you probably won't be one of those who can hear these trumpets, but with the 7th, we know what events on earth begin it and which end it. These are physical events that many will be able to see, thanks to technology. The 7th trumpet sounds shortly after the two witnesses/prophets of Rev. 11 are killed and resurrected in Jerusalem, and a great earthquake hits that city. "And the 7th trumpet sounded. And there were voices great in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever." Rev. 11:15. Many will see these two killed, lie in the streets of Jerusalem, and then be resurrected after 3 1/2 days; but many more will see what occurs at this time as well. After the beast kills them, he will go into the Temple of God (that the two witnesses had built, Rev. 11:1-2) and place the abomination of desolation in the Holy of Holies. (Matthew 24:15). The beast will declare himself god, ruler and king over all the earth! This is the key event, the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION, for many to watch for in order to get out of Jerusalem and Judea, and flee to the mountains. (Not to Petra but to the mountains of northern Israel, MEGIDDO!) "For great will be the tribulation of those days, such that if God did not shorten the days for the elect's sake, all flesh would perish off the face of the earth." Matthew 24.
Then the 7th Trumpet sounds and the Great Tribulation begins: the wrath of God, the final plagues. This will begin one of the most unusual, dramatic, chaotic, horrific time periods that ever will be on the earth. Great smoke will come out of the Temple in heaven, and no one will be able to enter into it, until the completion of the 7th trumpet. Seven angels will be given each a vial of the wrath (each a great plague) of God, to pour it out upon the earth and upon men. However, whereas the trumpets start and finish, the vials can continue until the completion, once they are poured out. These plagues also do not have to be poured out right at the start of the sounding of the 7th trumpet. There could be a time period before they commence during the sounding of the 7th trumpet. Now, a great persecution of Christians and others, who remain ( because they did not come out of Babylon completely), and who will not worship the image of the beast begins. Many of these Christians who are last will be first in the Kingdom of heaven. These elect will come out of this great tribulation, making themselves white with the blood of the Lamb, being martyred for the word of God by the beast and his followers. (Rev 7:14) These elect will not heed completely the warning: "Come out of her (Babylon) my people or... receive of her plagues (the 7th Trumpet)." Rev. 18:4. Being blinded by false religion rituals and traditions of men, they don't come out completely and; therefore, are cast into the great winepress of the wrath of God. (Rev. 14:19) Many will finally come out of Babylon and wind up at Megiddo, there protected in the wilderness for a time, times and 1/2 a time, or about 3 1/2 yrs, the time of the 7th Trumpet, the Great Tribulation!
Rev. chapter 16 describes all of these vials of wrath of the 7th Trumpet. The first vial of wrath (a noisome and grievous sore) is poured out upon those men who "had taken the mark of the beast, and were worshipping the image of the beast." ( Hence, showing that the test of the mark probably starts BEFORE the great tribulation, and during the time of the first 6 trumpets. Also , showing that the new worldwide church or religion of the beast, an image of the first Beast [Europe], starts before the great tribulation, during or before the time that he makes war with the two witnesses.) The second vial is cast into the sea and it becomes blood and all souls die in the sea. The third vial is cast upon the rivers and fountains of waters become blood. The fourth vial is cast upon the sun, and men were burned with the heat thereof, yet repented not of their sins. The fifth vial is cast upon the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became dark, and great pain upon those of his kingdom. The sixth vial is cast upon the great Euphrates river, to dry up the waters to make way for the kings of the east. Also, three evil spirits come out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. They go out to work signs for the kings and people of the earth to deceive them and to assemble the world for the great day of God Almighty, the battle of Har Megiddo (Armageddon). Then the 7th vial: "It is finished!" There is a great earthquake, the great city comes into three parts, the great cities of the nations fall, and Babylon comes into remembrance before God to receive of his wrath. Islands and mountains are found no more, and a great hail storm out of heaven occurs that is so great and terrible. Jesus wins this battle and takes physical control and total rule over the earth. (This also seems to describe the battle of God and Magog of Exk 38 & 39.)
Immediately after this great tribulation on earth, a great sign occurs in the heavens. The sixth seal, although opened years before, finally comes to completion here: A great earthquake, the sun becomes black as sackcloth, the moon becomes as blood, and the stars of heaven fall unto the earth, every island and mountain is moved out of its place. Then, the sign of the coming of the Son of man appears in the clouds: a burst of great light, glory of God, a spiritual Light. So, great that all men shall see, and many will wish to hide themselves in the dens of the earth, from the face of the Lamb/Jesus and from His wrath. Just before that, Satan and the Beast are coming against those who remain for God at Megiddo. One of a few isolated places that the beast will not control on the earth. THEN, Jesus comes in the clouds, as a thief in the night, and raptures those who remain who are His. (Many who remain will be changed in the blink of an eye.) He comes with His saints, a great army or host of heaven, and they destroy those who have come against His Elect. Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, will fight and win the battle of Har Megiddo, which then turns into a worldwide conflict, as Jesus takes back physically this kingdom on earth. Jesus will cast the beast into the lake of fire, along with the false prophet, and then casts Satan into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. (This battle may also be the fulfillment of the battle of Gog and Magog of Ezk 38 & 39.) This ends the 7th Trumpet.
Then the completed church rises up into the clouds to be with Jesus for evermore! The great marriage feast occurs, and the first resurrection is completed. The Millennial rule of Jesus is underway from over Jerusalem, with King David as the prince of this earth. The Word of the Lord shall go forth from Jerusalem, a time of iron rod rule and peace. Many Saints remain on the earth to help rule, teach and worship correctly the Lord of lords. Israel is partitioned off to the 12 tribes. Jerusalem is rebuilt, and a great cover is over it to protect it during the Millennium, Ish 4:5-6 (New Jerusalem ship?) The third covenant begins, and all will know that Jesus Christ is Lord, King and the God of Israel. (However, there will be heathen still on the earth who will not worship correctly, the earth will not be perfect, but it will be a far-cry from what it is today.)
The 7th Trumpet is the key to end times prophecy. It is the Great Tribulation of prophecy. It is the key to knowing when Jesus will return to the earth. Not the day or hour, but the season that He shall return for his children. This IS that season! The Abomination of Desolation begins it and Jesus' return in the clouds ends it. (See graph.)
We are not children of the night, that that day would overtake us as a thief in the night. Don't let Him come when you are not watching. Is He coming today? No, for the 7th trumpet has not sounded yet! Therefore, you still have time to come out of Babylon (false religion practices)..... completely in these times. The first trumpet will shortly sound if it hasn't already! Be ye prepared! God bless you all who have ears to hear and eyes to see!
If you have trouble following these concepts, then write to us, and READ YOUR BIBLE! Daniel 7 &12, Matthew 24 &25, Luke 17 & 21, Mark 13, Ezk 38 to 45, and all of Revelation! God bless! Keep looking up; for He comes in the clouds.
